Malaria

It is important for travellers visiting any of the malaria areas within southern Africa or elsewhere to take appropriate precautions and maintain a high index of suspicion for symptoms of malaria on their return.

Please note that Malanil Paed has been discontinued. Malarone paediatric and mefloquine is available as a section 21 import via Equity Pharmaceuticals. Health care providers can contact Equity via section21@equitypharma.co.za or on 012 345 1412 for further information.
